Wedding of Melanie & Jim at Cain Manor | Wedding Photographer Cain Manor

Having shot many weddings at Silchester House and Notley Abbey which both form part of the Bijou wedding venues collective I was looking forward to photographing a wedding at Cain Manor down in Hampshire as I had visited it several times from pre-wedding shoots but never actually been a wedding photographer Cain Manor. The couple were Jim and Melanie and it was a fantastic fun wedding with lots of personalities and a very happy vibe in a beautiful setting. Cain Manor has a spectacular Barn-style Banqueting Hall and 14 luxurious bedrooms with old style beams and extensive landscaped grounds with spectacular sunset views. The ceremony room is also the wedding breakfast area and is flooded with natural light which sets it apart from many barns which can be quite dark. Melanie wore a beautiful Kate Sherford gown from ELLIE SANDERSON with shoes from the fabulous RACHEL SIMPSON and I managed to get some lovely preparations photographs with the room with lots of directional daylight.

Despite a terrible weather forecast we only really had to content with showers which meant going indoors and outdoors quite a bit but the important shots with the couple we all dry!. The rains only came down when the evening reception started and by that time it didn’t matter, you can see from the brooding sky it was threatening to pour down all day however.

Loved shooting this wedding and looking forward to returning to be a wedding photographer at Cain Manor later this summer. Here as usual are some of my faves from the day.
