Well I can truly say that the 2009 wedding season has got off to a massive start as after a March dominated by several pre-wedding/engagement shoots I photographed 3 weddings in 4 days over Friday, Saturday and Monday!
Firstly on Friday 3rd April at The Compleat Angler Hotel in Marlow I photographed the wedding of Laura & David Coupe, lovely to be back there and by the river. Saturday I was again by the river at a very different venue Monkey Island Hotel in Bray, Berkshire an actual island in the middle of the Thames for the wedding of Jess & Richard Boyden, it’s a while since I have been there and the refurbishment has been very well done with the wedding breakfast room situated at one end of the property with the Thames flowing past both sides. The weather was stunning, probably one of the hottest days of the year so far! Finally yesterday I was back at one of my favourite wedding venues Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons for the small fairytale wedding of Jen & Mark Vaughan where unusually we did all the wedding pictures before the ceremony as their wedding was at 5pm and they sat down for dinner shortly afterwards. It worked out well and again a lovely day with the bride resplendent in actually fairy wings on her dress! so now I am sitting down locked in front of my computer for several days intense editing and image selection before my next wedding in Richmond on Saturday. Managed to get two lovely suits needing to go to the dry cleaners today after leaning onto dusty church walls and lying on the ground (as I tend to do for some shots!). Keep checking back here for the images from these weddings which I will post up when I receive them and of course don’t forget to check out the Wedding Galleries my main website The Bridal Photographer
