Ashmolean Museum Wedding Fashion Shoot | Oxford Wedding Photographer

For anyone who hasn’t visited the incredible Asmolean Museum in Oxford I urge you to take the time to go. What an amazing place!

I was asked to do a bridal wedding photo-shoot there for top UK bridal-wear boutique Ellie Sanderson to showcase their new collection of stunning designer wedding gowns from the likes od Sassi Holford, Suzanne Neville, Lusan Mandongus, Kate Sherford and many others. The gowns plus our fab professional models Rachel & Jordan mixed with top make up artist Joyce Connor and the incredible setting of The Asmolean was a total joy to photograph whether using The Atrium with it’s amazing natural light and scale, The Cast Gallery with it’s blue walls and statues and casts in white contrasting perfectly or the “heads gallery” in there, the stunning red silk damask walls of The Mallett Gallery or perhaps the most special of all the feel of ancient Pharaohs with the Egypt galleries displaying the Museum’s Ancient World holdings. It’s certainly the most amazing and unusual place to hold a wedding or wedding reception and one I hope to visit and photograph some more Ashmolean weddings many more times in the future.
