A new venue for me in terms of photographing weddings but very lovely is the Cantley House Hotel in Wokingham, Berkshire where I did the pre-wedding shoot for Drew & Maria a couple of weekends ago. The two children came along too for a starring role (and dress rehearsal for the Big Day) and the sun shone all morning which actually made shooting in the lovely gardens quite tricky as the light was bouncing everywhere and I was without my trusty assistant I usually have on my wedding shoots to help me out with the diffuser and reflectors. However shooting into the sun creates beautiful back-lit images with the hair outline glowing. Their wedding day at the end of October should be great fun as Drew and family members will be in full Scottish dress, kilts and the lot!!
