Georgina & Dominic Wedding, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons

This wedding at le manoir was actually photographed  a few months ago in May at one of my very favourite wedding venues in Oxfordshire the unique Le Manoir aux Quat’Sasions. Now that the nights are drawing in and the wedding season for me is slowly getting quieter I will hopefully be filling this Blog with some of the many lovely images I have been fortunate to capture from the many weddings I have photographed this year.

I’ve been really fortunate to photograph several weddings at Le Manoir this year and being one of a select group of wedding photographers on their recommended list I get the chance to visit and to capture the wedding days of many couple there. It sort of goes without saying that the beautiful gardens and pools at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons really do live up to their reputation and are as beautiful as the food there. On a sunny day I can’t think of anywhere better to be!

Georgina and Dom’s wedding at Le Manoir was extra special as they chose to have their wedding ceremony in the church right next door St Mary the Virgin, Great Milton this is perhaps 20 yards from the entrance into the Belle Epoque gardens so the couple just stroll from the church through the original gates of the Manor House into the gardens to be greeted with a glass of champagne.

It was one of the first times I have shot 2 weddings in the same week at Le Manoir having been there for a small ceremony that I posted on the blog HERE on the previous Wednesday so I was especially lucky!

The other very notable thing about the wedding was that I knew I would have no problems with anything less than a perfectly fitted designer wedding dress as the Suzanne Neville gown was from the one and only ELLIE SANDERSON BRIDAL BOUTIQUE.

During their wedding breakfast Georgina and Dom had chosen to have one of Chef Raymond Blanc’s traditional French Croque en Bouche “Pièce Montée” wedding cakes, which added a show-stopping centrepiece to the wedding breakfast when it was carried in aloft through the wedding guests during dinner.

Georgina and Dom are just about to take delivery of their gorgeous wedding album which is sitting here in the studio waiting for them to collect and the happy ending to this Blog post is that Georgina fell pregnant shortly after the wedding and is due early next year!

Here are some of my wedding photography at Le Manoir picks from their special day including some in the Le Manoir kitchens where I am allowed to photograph their yummy food!
