Although I have photographed a great many weddings at my favourite wedding venue Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, it’s the very first time I have covered a wedding ceremony down in the intimate candle-lit Japanese Tea House in the gardens. This was a very small intimate wedding for top film UK producer Julia and her husband Mark with only their very nearest and dearest invited to share their very special day. For me it was fantastic to once again be working with the very best suppliers in Oxfordshire at a Le Manoir wedding and the gown was made by the inimitable Suzanne Neville from Ellie Sanderson in Beaconsfield. Julia opted for the light and bright all white “blanc-de-blanc suite” for her bridal preparations which made life very easy for me before making here way down to a slippery Japanese gardens where the civil ceremony to Mark was held. In true Scottish style Mark & Julia were piped back up to the house for their champagne reception by a Scottish bagpipe player getting everyone in the mood for the fabulous Le Manoir food and wine to come!
