Of all the venues I photograph as a wedding photographer in Oxfordshire, the gorgeous Cliveden House must rank as one of my favourites. The stunning views across the gardens at the back or looking back at the imposing house are just beautiful. I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding of Holly and Richard Tweed there on Saturday and it was a hugely enjoyable day. I was christened “Looking Good Dave” or “LGD” my the bridal party and some of the guests and there was much good natured banter during the group shots which my assistant Michelle found highly amusing. I had a bit of a surprise to find the bride Holly had become 6 months pregnant since the pre-wedding shoot and had ditched her original wedding dress for a beautiful floaty number. I will post some more images when they are edited but I loved this shot of Holly throwing her bouquet over her head to the many waiting girls about 15 feet below. I tell you this was not a light bouquet and with the camera shooting 4 frames per second I got the perfect shot with the bouquet mid flight and some of the petals flying off!
