What a fab wedding this was a couple of weeks back down at the ultra stylish wedding venue Cowley Manor in Gloucestershire hear Cheltenham, Simon the grooms family were all from the UK and Olya the brides family were all from Russia complete with lots of traditional Russian wedding etiquette including the groom having to pass a series of tests set by the bridesmaids in front of everyone except the bride herself before he could marry Olya, any questions that he got wrong he had to pay the girls £20 and upwards for (his wallet was seriously light at the end!!).  Before the first dance both bride and groom have to take a bite out of a special Russian soda bread held by the brides’ father, whoever takes the biggest bite is to “wear the trousers” in the marriage for the rest of time…some serious BIG bites ensued as you would imagine!
