Stowe Landscape Gardens Wedding, Buckinghamshire

It is always lovely to receive any positive feedback from my customers and obviously photographing one of the most important days in someones life is both a huge honour and a huge responsibility so to know they are delighted with the results is always great to hear. I was lucky enough to be invited to photography the wedding of Kirsty & Tim at Stowe Landscape Gardens late last summer and what a venue!, the grounds are owned by The National Trust and they have incredible temples, archways and monuments which just lend themselves to being photographed. The weather almost held out but broke just as we were finishing the last Bride & Groom signature shots in the gardens on the beautiful Palladian Bridge, we all hot-footed it in our borrowed golf buggy and managed to finish the group shots in The Temple of Venue where the guests were having the drink reception. My trusty assistant held the brolly like a true pro whilst the rain came down in sheets, the guests were dry but I was soaked! Luckily having the brollys there meant I had the chance to capture a really magical shot of the bride and groom walking towards their wedding car a 1920’s Rolls Royce Silver Shadow with Tim shading Kirsty with the same umbrella that had protected all of my camera equipment from the rain. The couple were kind enough to send me the following feedback after we delivered the final images……
“We hired Dave Bostock as our wedding photographer, and we were extremely impressed with both the quality of his work and his professionalism. His photography fitted in naturally with the various stages of our wedding, resulting in a portfolio of photographs which perfectly captured our memories of key moments, including some that may have otherwise been missed or forgotten, such as the preparation of the bridal party. The posed photographs were beautifully taken and included all of the essential groups, without the need for a lengthy “photo-session”, which can be tedious for both the guests and the wedding party. I would not hesitate to recommend Dave Bostock to any of my friends and family for their weddings.”
