Very busy couple of weeks for me as the crazy wedding season reaches fever pitch so it was nice to have a lovely wedding of my niece Claire to shoot down in beautiful Suffolk in Haughly Park Barn. Once again the weather forecast was decidedly poor but with everyone sitting down at 4pm the weather just had to hold out and despite a couple of brief showers it did and we got some stunning shots. I have known Claire since she was born and she looked absolutely beautiful on the day in her floaty Parisian Cymbalene dress. Haughly Park Barn has stunning grounds and in the same vein as Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons has it’s own vegetable and herb garden where there were some lovely photo opportunities as well as lakes, woods, perfectly manicured lawns and the imposing 17th Century Manor house. We arrived the night before so I was there to capture all the getting ready shots, Claire’s sister Sarah did all the make-up and a fab job she did too!. Liz the mother of the bride has worked tirelessly for months getting everything sorted for the decoration of the old barn where we had the wedding breakfast, everything was perfect freshly dried lavender on the tables and beautiful voile’s draping the barn. In the evening I was also providing the music via my band (I am also a semi pro sax player on the side!) so we rocked the place with everything from Stevie Wonder, Chakka Khan, Miles Davis and the Rolling Stones covers………all in all a really lovely happy day and fab to see so many of my family and bothers and sisters looking so smartly turned out!. Cripps Barn Wedding: Rustic Chic in the Cotswolds
Charlie and Adam’s May wedding at one of my favourite Cotswold venues, Cripps Barn, brought all the English Country garden vibes. The day was filled with glorious sunshine, stunning hot pink reception styling and a bride and groom who couldn’t stop smiling. What a joy...
