Wedding of Trevor & Melissa, Compleat Angler Hotel, Marlow, Buckinghamshire

I love shooting autumn weddings and a typical fine autumn day in October and a lovely wedding at the stunning setting of the Compleat Angler Hotel in Marlow, Buckinghamshire was what was in store for Trevor & Melissa and their young family. The brides transport was an Asquith London Legend Taxi from the early 1900’s where the grooms mode of transport was a drop dead gorgeous brand spanking new silver Audi R8 absolute beast!. Honestly when this car was started it was like standing next to Lewis Hamilton on the grid (I want one NOW, please can I have one, can I, can I??!!). The best man was entrusted to drive this beautiful machine from the church to the hotel and I am pleased to say it didn’t have a mark on it. The great setting next to the river means we managed to get some fab shots of Trevor & Melissa up on the chain link bridge (which is an exact replica of the original in Budapest which I have actually walked across!) with the couple and also overlooking the raging weir behind the hotel. It’s not very often I get to take a group wedding shot from the centre of a massive bridge but we did at this wedding! (thanks to my trusty 70-200 lens, wish I had some walkie talkies though to communicate with my assistant Michelle). I left the couple after the speeches had finished but apparently the party continued on to the wee small hours and little 2 year old Louis was still giving his best moves on the dance floor at 2am. Melissa & Trevor then headed off for some well deserved pampering at a famous spa.
