Windsor Guildhall Wedding Photos | Berkshire Wedding Photographer | Curtis and Rob

I was lucky enough to capture the marriage of the amazing Curtis & Rob, a glorious same sex wedding that must be the most quintessentially English day I have every photographed! Despite the whole wedding party having flown in from America!

The Ceremony

Curtis and Rob were married at Windsor Guildhall, a magnificent building dating back to the 16th century and the venue for the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowels. The couple’s young nieces and nephews took starring roles as ring bearers and wedding attendants walking down the aisle, the page boys looked adorable in their outfits carrying the bespoke rings.

The Suits

Curtis and Rob opted for complementary suits in blues and whites, their look was contemporary yet classic with just a touch of 20s glamour to match their theme for the day.

The Reception

After the ceremony the couple strolled through Windsor town centre before heading down the Thames with the rest of the party aboard the S.L. Streatley, a traditional steam boat built in 1898. A champagne afternoon tea was served and the weather was stunning, perfect for a leisurely trip down the river.  A Dixie Jazz band serenaded the party, dressed in classic dickie bows and stripped suits.

Once the cruise was finished the S.L. Streatley docked outside the reception venue, the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel, for the guests to disembark with champagne and strawberries served on arrival of course! Curtis styled the wedding breakfast room, with elegant table centres of cascading white orchids, the room looked truly magnificent.

The evening was filled with love, laughter and an outfit change (this couple definitely know how to dress well!) before some fabulous dancing to a Big Band playing jazz music into the night.

It was an honour to capture this same sex wedding, and Curtis and Rob managed to create a beautiful English wedding with style and flare from across the pond – just incredible!
