Caswell House Jewish Wedding

I have only once before photographed a wedding with the intense fun and energy of the Caswell House Jewish wedding that I photographed yesterday, the couple in question Simon & Victoria were incredible fun to work with!

When it came to the Jewish dancing the bride and groom were held aloft by the wedding party on dining chairs careering around the dance-floor at breakneck speed to music everyone danced to…………..you can’t compose these shots you just need to know your gear & settings and hold your camera high with a super wide-angle lens take several shots and wait for the magic to happen.

This is the “peak of the action” image I was hoping for!

Technical details:

Canon EOS 5D Mark II with EF 16-35mm L 2.8 lens at 16mm – f4 and 1/60th  and speedlight flashgun set to manual 1/16th power
