Rachel and Rob’s Caswell House Wedding combined the perfect intimate family ceremony and an incredible evening reception for 150 guests – giving them the best of both worlds.

The Venue

Caswell House is stunning rustic barn venue in the Cotswolds. The flagstone floors, honey-coloured Cotswold stone walls and oak beams, provide the perfect backdrop for the ceremony creating a sophisticated yet romantic atmostphere. The landscaped courtyard was perfect for some couple shots despite a few drops of rain on the day!

The Ceremony

Rachel and Rob opted for a small intimate ceremony of just family and close friends. Their two young daughters Daisy and Berry were  an intricate part of the day, and took their bridesmaiding duties very seriously. Their girls got very emotional just before the ceremony, seeing their parents getting married, I managed to capture this moment with the girls giving a Rachel a wonderful hug, before they walked her down the aisle.

Following the ceremony the family were treated to an exquisite champagne afternoon tea provided by Caswell House Indulgence, including smoked salmon sandwiches and dark chocolate marquise whilst listening to breathtaking music by harpist Tori Handsley.

The Dress

Rachel wore a  beautiful white antique lace dress by Veromia that she found on her first excursion! The shoes were slightly more challenging to find, with only one week to go before the wedding Rachel found her perfect pair of Jimmy Choo silver wedges – talk about cutting it fine!

The Party

In the evening the medieval barns filled up with friends and family arriving for the champagne reception. They were blown away by the beauty of the venue, with so many guests mentioning how stunning it was. The barns were lit up by Fairy Lights by Oakwood Events and the couple hired LOVE lights through Glow Love Lights which was a fabulous setting for so many photographs.
