It’s really lovely when someone you have known for a few years and who has become a good friend really wants you to photograph their wedding and this was the case with Kitty who I met about 8 years ago. At the time I was off on my 3 month travel adventure in April 2004 to the remote west coat of Madagascar as a group of volunteers with the charity Blue Ventures, scuba diving the undiscovered coral reefs off the West Coast and sending the results back to London for analysis. I needed to get my PADI Rescue Diver qualification as I was intending to complete my PADI Divemaster training whilst on location there (I was after all doing 2 dives a day for 6 weeks!!) and this is where I met Kitty and her other instructor on a freezing cold day at the green and murky Wraysbury Lake near Heathrow. Kitty called to say she was getting married on 24th March 2012 at Marylebone Town Hall and having her reception at the amazing Cavalry and Guards Club in London’s Piccadilly. Well how could I refuse!!

We met in London a couple of weeks ago to do this shoot in and around the Piccadilly area of London. Cycling has become a way of life for Kitty and Chris who both use their bikes all the time in London so I thought a more urban style shoot would suit the couple perfectly.
