It’s been a pretty busy week all told with the set up and break-down of the exhibition stand for Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique, at The National Wedding Show in Earls Court, the filming and shooting of her scene on the catwalk and then weddings Saturday at Notley Tythe Barn and Monday at Stoke Park Club so appologies there has not been a lot of blog and twitter action in the past week……….!!!

There was much excitement last Thursday as my wife Ellie owner of the locally famous Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutiques in Oxford and Beaconsfield managed to get the actual dress worn at the 6th Annual Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Gala by none other than celebrity Geri Halliwell. The 2012 collection gown is by Suzanne Neville and called “Broadway Belle” . Geri looked more like she was ready to walk down the aisle than attend a charity gala wearing the full-skirted strapless white dress!!

The dress was personally prepared by Suzanne Neville  herself and couriered over in a taxi just in time to make the fashion show and supplied with it’s own gorgeous matching veil.

The catwalk fashion team decided to use a beautiful pale skinned model for the catwalk show to model the gown and armed with my shiny press pass here is one of the the images I took on Friday.

Along with a selection of gowns by Suzanne Neville, Ellie Sanderson showcased 2012 dresses by Sassi Holford, Augusta Jones, Jenny Packham and Kate Sherford.
