"Wedding at Horwood House"

Andrew and Anna-Marie got married at Horwood House which is nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside not far from Milton Keynes.

Once again despite a terrible weather forecast the weather was really kind to us all day and we got some lovely images. It was my first time shooting a wedding at Horwood House and Leisure Club but it was a lovely Buckinghamshire wedding venue with lovely grounds with views over the Bucks countryside. It was also my first time working with someone who I follow on Twitter Katy Meser and her company Make Up By Katy who did such an amazing job with the already very beautiful porcelain skinned Anna-Marie, you can check her out on Twitter @makeupbykaty. She did a lovely Blog post of her own following the wedding here of a Horwood House wedding photographer

When I saw the stunning wedding gown hanging up I instantly recognised the distinctive lines of a Ritva Westenius gown, I had shot one of these on another beautiful slim bride not so long ago at Le Manoir and with my wife Ellie Sanderson who used to stock her designer gowns educating me on the legendary corsetry in an original "Ritva" gown I knew Anna-Marie would look sensational as she is also tall. This was teamed up with what else but a fab pair of Jimmy Choos. I spied a little card Andrew had written for Anna-Marie on the side and thought it made a lovely memory for them in their wedding photographs.

The groomsmen had a treat in store for the groom Andrew as he was driven to the wedding in a perfect replica of Dell-Boy’s bright yellow Reliant Robin 3-wheeler complete with blow up doll in the back!!!

They also had matching new watches and cufflinks and socks with their roles on Best Man, Usher etc.

I am really delighted that the lovely people at Your Berks & Bucks Wedding Magazine are featuring this wedding as a horwood house wedding photographer piece in their next issue as one of their Real Weddings and have chosen a lovely portrait of Anna-Marie which is a sort of homage to Marilyn Monroe for their front cover so please get out there and buy it, on-sale late Nov in all good newsagents in the Berks & Bucks area!

I am always very touched to get  TESTIMONIALS and THANK YOU’s from my clients and many of them are kind eough to post comments about my wedding photography and how I was on the day on the Guides For Brides website and you can view all my reviews by clicking HERE

Anna-Marie & Andrew posted this review:

“When searching for our photographer as soon as I saw David’s website I knew he would be perfect! His photography has such style and sophistication that is rare to find and his gallery seemed to capture the feelings of the moment in a way that I hadn’t seen from other portfolios. We arranged a meeting with David and he gave us an opportunity to review all of the options open to us. We were not rushed at all and he made us feel very welcome. David is so amiable and so passionate about what he does you will have full confidence in him, which means one less thing to worry about on the day!

David was amazing on the day itself. He arrived as planned and he made me feel relaxed, excited and special, which is exactly what you want before you get married!! Everybody at the wedding found him to be so friendly and not intrusive at all. He was fully in the background throughout the day and managed to get some great shots which we had no idea were being taken!

David not only captured the emotion, mood and happiness of our day but he contributed to it. If I could only say one thiong to you it would be to book him…now! You will not be disappointed and you will have images to cherish forever!”
