The National Wedding show in London is a must for bride to be with an incredible collection of wedding suppliers to give endless inspiration. Ellie Sanderson Bridal boutiques @elliesanderson1 have been one of the major bridalwear exhibitors at The National Wedding show for several years now with a breathtaking exhibition stand very close to the catwalk. Ellie Sanderson takes the very best of the best wedding gowns to the show from such iconic designers such as Suzanne Neville, Sassi Holford, Jenny Packham, Claire Pettibone, Augusta Jones, Alan Hannah, Lusan Mandongus and Benjamin Roberts. Each year Ellie asks me to go and photograph the scenes that her wedding dresses appear in and it’s always fun to do as her dresses always look amazing. This year there was a particular couple of gowns that stood out. Ellie managed to get the V&A museium to lend her an amazing gown called ‘Rapunzel’ by designer Jenny Packham — a favourite designer with the Duchess of Cambridge, nee Kate Middleton. The “Rapunzel” dress was swathed in Swarovski crystals down the back and featuring a high neckline inspired by the opulent Edwardian period, the “Rapunzel” is for the red-carpet bride. Also featuring was a gorgeous Pink gown from Suzanne Neville which featured in the finale and was covered in confetti much to the delight of the audience!.
