Working with David was an absolute pleasure. I would highly recommend David and his work as he’s been incredibly easy to work with, from his initial setup, to the shoot itself, and the final products. David makes you feel comfortable as a client and took the time to understand what I wanted out of the photography, which made the final product absolutely stunning. I’ve work with a few other photographers who have a hard time balancing understanding the setting vs trying to pull away shots in the wrong setting; to which David 100% understands. I started the journey with a photographer but I completed it with a friend.

I would highly recommend David as your wedding photographer. He was absolutely fantastic on the day … he really does make it all about you and your other half… he has released sneaky peaks pics especially for my thank yous and just has been all round so lovely… He also entered a photo of me into a competition where he won a gold award… that photo was taken in a moment where I was waiting for my husband to finish practising his speech with our toast master and best man.. I will always remember that moment as thinking ‘hurry up will you’ and ‘I am so looking forward to walking into our wedding breakfast right now’.. David captured a moment truly put as ‘the calm before the party storm’.. I will forever be grateful for him capturing our day. Helen at the studio was absolutely fantastic and managed to calm any wedding organisational nerves with her wit and efficiency.
David photographed our wedding in April 2019 and did an amazing job. From the first time we spoke to him a year before the big day until we received our photos he was always professional, courteous and timely with his responses. The pre shoot we did was fun and we got some nice photos. We had several calls in the run up to the day which was really appreciated to settle the nerves. On the day we barely noticed David outside of the ‘main photo slots’ which was really nice and meant we could fully relax and enjoy every moment and yet when we received the photos he managed to capture them all!! The photos were so incredible and made us so happy and grateful, we got them just 2 weeks after the wedding and have loved looking at the 600+ photos we received capturing the whole day. Thank you so much David for capturing our day in such an amazing way. We can’t recommend him enough!!!

From the first meeting with David we knew he was different to the other photographers we’d met with. His professionalism coupled with a fab portfolio and genuine excitement about our wedding convinced us he was the right photographer for our wedding. .As soon as I started my wedding planning I knew that I was looking for a particular style of photography with a contemporary, funky, high end feel to it. I hated the stiff, wooden traditional photography that you often associate with wedding photography so knew that I needed somebody with a quirky, artistic eye. I found David via a Google search and knew immediately that he was the man for me! When I met David he completely understood my vision and his gallery blew me away. I had complete trust in him from that initial meeting. On the day David was charming, professional and discreet. We cannot thank David enough for providing us with the most beautiful memories and cannot recommend him highly enough. Absolutely fantastic.
As a Vicar, who has officiated at over 50 weddings myself, I’ve seen both good and bad wedding photographers. David is not just good, he is excellent! David’s brief was to give us a polished, reportage style record that captured every aspect of our day and he more than fulfilled that. His attention to detail, his ability to notice and capture those special moments is exceptional. He was unobtrusive and undemanding, yet everywhere he needed to be, recording the memories for us as only he can.
David photographed our wedding in May. We found the pre-wedding shoot at the venue really useful as it meant we all got to know each other and feel comfortable as well as walking through some ideas for photos on the day. At first we felt pretty awkward in front of the camera but David was calm and relaxed which really helped to put us at ease. David is friendly and professional. Our guests said they were impressed with how he managed to be present but not intrusive on the day. We love the fact our photos capture the beauty of our location and the emotion of the day.
We absolutely loved working with David! I was living in the States at the time, and my husband was studying for his exams, so all my communication and planning with David was via the phone and email. While it sounds like a hectic process, David made is easy and enjoyable! He was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful, and made sure that we still got to meet and have our pre-wedding photo shoot regardless of the fact that I only moved to England a few days before the wedding!

I’m involved in photography myself as a professional cinematographer and we seem to have similar ideas about how to do it. It rained on the big day most photographer would have panic but David didn’t and used to his advantage creating I think better photos then if it would have been sunny ..a true professional.
David has been wonderful to work with. Certainly, the quality of his work is unquestionable. He has a perfect eye for image that captures mood, sentiment and occasion as you feel it. To be able to see it, again, in David’s photographs after the day is priceless. More than that though, David understands weddings: the camera-shy, the small details that distinguish, the nuances of families – and he honours each individual detail. My day ran like a dream. I have the photographs to prove it.
