The Hedsor House wedding photography for this particular wedding was a rather special opportunity for me.  The Bride Stacey has worked at Ellie Sanderson, my wife’s bridal boutique, for many years and was definitely a fab member of the team. So when it came to her wedding, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of such a special day!

Venue

Stacey married her handsome groom Frazer at the incredible Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire where I am proud to be a recommended photographer. The day was filled with fun, laughter and lots of friends and family.

Hedsor House is the perfect country house venue, with landscaped grounds for the reception drinks, a light and bright entrance hall that creates an incredible atmosphere for your ceremony and some fab high ceiling rooms to dance the night away. The venue dates back 800 years and holds a fantastic position high above the river Thames and in close proximity to London. There are also some lovely hidden locations within the grounds and we got some beautiful couple shots that worked perfectly with Stacey’s relaxed Claire Pettibone gown. A Hedsor House Wedding is a very special occasion, stylish and beautiful.

The Dress

Having worked in the wedding dress industry at Ellie Sanderson, Stacey knew exactly want she wanted and of course she found it at Ellie Sanderson! Eternity by Claire Pettibone I’m told is a fabulous bohemian gown and it definitely worked well in the venue.

The Theme

Stacey and Frazer matched the country house venue with a some charming rustic touches including woven hearts and old photos of their family. Stacey’s flowers followed the relaxed country feel with daisies, gypsophila and some peach English roses. The daisies followed through into the wedding styling with name cards, rustic flower arrangements and cupcake favours. Stacey & Frazer had a special photographic request, as Frazer is a tennis coach, so we authentically recreated on the Hedsor House tennis court the famous sexy Athena poster TENNIS GIRL from 1976 that adorned every teenage boys’ bedroom walls in the 70’s and 80’s but I will keep that cheeky shot private for the couple themselves!
