Capturing those extra special moments between loved ones is what drives me as photographer and these Milton Hill House wedding photos really do express the absolute joy everyone had at Laura and Nick’s wedding.

The venue

Laura and Nick were married at Milton Hill House, an outstanding Georgian manor house in South Oxfordshire surrounded by 22 acres of rolling English countryside.  The venue was perfect for Laura and Nick, providing the space for their wedding party and the stunning Italian garden for photos and drinks.

The wedding details

Laura wore a beautiful gown with traditional sweetheart neckline and vintage lace bodice and hem on a white tulle full skirt. The groomsmen and bridesmaids both picked up on the theme with dusty pink touches. The bride’s very talented mother designed and made their amazing 3 tier wedding cake, again picking up their subtle theme with dusky pink handmade roses and lace detail. Flowers included white and pink roses, with white gypsophilia and greenery; subtle and romantic. Their reception followed with clean modern styling; white chair covers, sashes, favour boxes, wishing trees and a post box.

The reception

The evening reception including a photobooth which was a highlight of the evening, and I can confirm the DJ was great, so much so the dance floor was full all evening, a sign of a great wedding in my book!

“Our favourite element to our wedding is that we were married on Easter Sunday, to incorporate this into our wedding we gave miniature Easter eggs to all guests as favours. The best advice we received was to go with our own ideas and not to be influenced by others. Our wedding day was exactly how we both wanted it to be.”
