Rachel and Simon Pre-Wedding Shoot from Jesus College Oxford

Just before Xmas I met Rachel & Simon on a crisp, cold but bright winters day with the most stunning light for their pre-wedding shoot at Jesus College, Oxford. The couple will be getting married there in August this year. Like all Oxford College Weddings this will no doubt be another beautiful day in such stunning grounds and a wedding chapel to die for. It continues the list of Oxford Colleges I have had the distinct pleasure to photograph at, I think I must have done most of them now or have them booked in to shoot this year. As venues for wedding photography in Oxford the Oxford Colleges are simply very, very special places.

The College was founded in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth I, at the request of a Welsh Lawyer and Clergyman, Hugh Price.  The compact central College site has beautiful quadrangles tucked away off Turl Street, right in the heart of Oxford.

I promise you that not one bit of off camera flash or any artificial light 0r even reflectors were used during this pre-wedding shoot at Jesus College Oxford, the beautiful light was just there that day, a rare quality of light wintry but warm in colour temperature.

Here are a selection of my favourites from this shoot.  Please feel free to share this post on social media, Facebook/Twitter or leave a comment below.  They are all very much appreciated.
