As I promised I am going to be posting some of my favourite images from the 2010 weddings I have photographed up to now that I didn’t have a chance to do beforehand.
The lovely winter wedding of Carrie & Adam Cook took place on the 13th February 2010 at the very beautiful Kirtlington Park in Oxfordshire, a venue I hadn’t photographed before for a wedding but had the chance to shoot late last year at the couples pre-wedding shoot. It’s a very exclusive venue that reminded me a lot of Cliveden in Berkshire but on a slightly smaller scale. They don’t have lot’s of weddings there as it is privately owned and the owner lives there on one of the upper floors.
The light in the plush bedroom Carrie used to get ready in was amazing, beautiful natural light and lots of it!
Being February we half we preparing for snow but the weather was kind and although cool it was a lovely bright winters day and we managed to get some lovely photographs. Carrie wasn’t taking any chances and opted for a fur coat which she wore when we weren’t off doing photographs. Carrie & Adam are picking up their beautiful wedding album this week which looks absolutely stunning and I know they will be over the moon with it. Of particular mention were the groomsmens’ socks which you can see from the pictures here were anything BUT understated.
